I made this fish just a bit over 28 inches so it would fit in the slot. Carved from pine, with a glass eye and small hanger attached to the back. Painted with acrylic paint. Then given several layers of gloss sealer for protection and a smooth feel.

Piece measures 28" long by 10 1/2" tall by 1 1/2" thick.
