There are things in Life that can’t be explained.  For me it’s the passion I have for fish.  As a kid I would fish as often as possible.  In my twenties and thirties I switched from catching fish to keeping them in aquariums (a lot of them). In my forties I rediscovered fishing and I'm loving every minute of it.  I now find that if I’m not out on the water catching them, I’m at home making them. 

Some day I’ll see the Doc to find out why I’m so addicted to fish.  Until then, this is my therapy

Florida Sport Fish

Redfish, trout, and snook, oh my.  I love them all.  So I have to make Florida sport fish. This line of fish is carved and finished on one side and range in size from 14 to 32 inches.

Desk top displays

I also enjoy making 3d carvings.  These are often table top displays and the fish are usually under 20 inches.

Artistic Replicas

Atistic replicas are fish that I have carved out of urethane foam with a hard plastic coating applied.  This is the material that I like to use when a client wants a large fish and it would be just too expensive to make one out of wood.  The nice thing about foam is that you can make them as large as you want.
