Artistic Replicas



One of my favorite things to do is to create an artistic replica for a fisherman or woman. These are usually the times when I can achieve both of my goals of capturing a moment in a fish’s life and making someone smile.

The body of the replica is carved from urethane foam and then coated with a two-part plastic. The fins are carved from wood and sealed. The whole fish is then air-brush painted and coated with a gloss sealer.
